Berlin Fashion Week may not be the most luxurious and popular fashion week with the most famous designers, but it’s certainly the most avant-garde FW out there!

Historically, Berlin has always been a city of culture, a home for artists and performers, who enjoy the open-minded surroundings of the city. So it is no surprise that when Berlin Fashion Week is taking place, ‘freedom’ is the word that comes to mind.

While Paris and New York display the most glamorous designs of today, in Berlin you get to spot the voices of tomorrow. Some may say that Spring 2013 was one of the most eccentric Fashion Weeks ever held in Berlin.

Michael Michalsky

Michalsky is one of the most influential voices of German fashion, and a consistent star-designer at Mercedes-Benz Berlin FW. The Michalsky show presented bright, solid colors, with gentle designs, but in unique style- showing a very delicate mix between streetwear, fetish styles and sophisticated jackets and gowns.
